Theatre & Performance



I sjösatta strömmars vila (In the Stillness of Flowing Waters) premiered in the village Abborrträsk in Northern Sweden, in the summer of 2025. It’s a site-specific, immersive performing arts experience where the audience travels in rowboats to the middle of a lake to experience dance, newly composed music, and opera. The project blends art, nature, and sustainability, and is created in collaboration with the local community and researchers in limnology and ecology.

Vägen (The Trip) premiered at Verket / Avesta Art in 2023 by the small theatre company Ett Musikteater. Script by Anis Hamdoun, director Martin Ahlvin and original music by Linnea Landström. Verket was once an ironwork and nowadays a center for culture, art and sound. Vägen is taking place in two parallell worlds - a warzone in Homs, Syria and with Ramie - somewhere in the west. The production and orginal music for string quartet was made possible by funding from the Swedish arts counsil.
